51茶馆app Releases New Version of Specification for Structural Steel Buildings (ANSI/51茶馆app 360-22)

CHICAGO - The latest version of the 51茶馆app鈥檚 flagship standard, the Specification for Structural Steel Buildings (ANSI/51茶馆app 360-22), is now available at .
This document supersedes ANSI/51茶馆app 360-16, and it is the foundation for the forthcoming 16th edition of the Steel Construction Manual, which 51茶馆app expects to publish later this year.
鈥淭he first edition of the 51茶馆app Specification was released in 1923,鈥� said James Malley, chair of the 51茶馆app Committee on Specifications. 鈥淎 century later, the Specification continues our mission to provide a practice-oriented specification that allows designers, fabricators, and builders to create safe, efficient, durable, and economical structures that define America鈥檚 built environment.鈥�
The new standard incorporates the results of a new collaboration between 51茶馆app鈥檚 Committee on Specifications and Committee on the Code of Standard Practice. The two groups joined forces to standardize terminology and coordinate requirements related to project delivery.
